Democracy, Values & the 2020 Election: A Reflection Guide for Faith Communities

Download The Guide & Share This Link To Triple The Vote! —> bit.ly/NCvaluesvoter

The 2020 elections could not be more significant. The outcome will set the course on climate change for years to come. On top of that, we are in the midst of a global pandemic, a major recession, record joblessness, and our nation is in turmoil over police killings that have exposed the deep inequities and racial injustice in our nation.

It’s time for some national soul-searching, and faith communities have an important role to play. That’s why IPL and  Faith in Public Life partnered to create a multi-issue faith voter guide – Democracy, Values & the 2020 Election: A Reflection Guide for Faith Communities.

The guide will help faith communities consider moral issues from the climate crisis to racial justice. The guide also addresses other urgent issues in the election, including voting rights, systemic racism in the criminal justice system, healthcare, peace, LGBTQ rights, and immigration. It has been endorsed by prominent faith groups and religious leaders at the national and state level including the NC Council of Churches and NC Interfaith Power & Light (NCIPL).

Voter Guide Downloads – WE MET OUR GOAL OF 10,000!

Please download the guide and ask others in your community to do so as well. Distributing this guide is key to our “get out the vote” work this election. By inviting others to download from this link and not sharing the PDF, you can help us track how this message of voting our values is being spread around our state and the country. That said, please download the guide and refrain from sharing as a PDF.

If you would like to order free printed copies of the Values Voter Guide in bulk, please contact Sarah Ogletree, NCIPL Program Coordinator – programs@ncipl.org.

Thank you! We are grateful for the chance to do this work alongside you.
