Creation Care and the Bible

Join NC Interfaith Power & Light (NCIPL), St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, and Interfaith Creation Care of the Triangle (ICCT) for a program on faith and climate care. “Creation Care & The Bible: A Conversation” will feature speaker Stephen Jurovics, NCIPL advisory council member and author of the text, Hospitable Planet: Faith, Action, and Climate Change. Jurovics will discuss the deep connection between both Old and New Testament teachings and environmental justice. He will then offer ideas about how people of faith can become inspired to take action. Following his talk, there will be opportunities to learn more about the work of ICCT, in addition to opportunities to work together in interfaith action teams as agents of change.
