Conversation with Families of North Carolinians Currently Detained by ICE

May 27, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Nearly all men detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in North Carolina are sent to Stewart Detention Center in Georgia, where a report this week in The News & Observer exposed life-threatening conditions. Dozens of clergy and people of faith across North Carolina have signed this letter calling on NC’s congressional delegation to take immediate action, which also received coverage in the N&O.

In this invitation-only Zoom call you’ll hear from the family members of people currently detained at Stewart, plus advocates with the Council and Siembra NC, about how you can take action to help them. Registration is required. Click here to register.
