True Imaging Demonstration with PHW

Joy Williams, Former PHW Regional Coordinator · July 31, 2014 · Leave a Comment

Wednesday, August 12, 1-2 p.m.
Partnership for Children Building
404 North Main Street, #A, Troy

One of our stellar volunteers for Montgomery County is hosting a curriculum demonstration two weeks from today. Cindy Taylor, native to Troy, has fought to keep health at the center of her worship in Randolph County. She has become a beacon of light for so many individuals who want to get started on health changes but just don’t know where to begin. She recently attended a conference hosted by Fred Bahnson and the Wake Divinity School in Asheville which focused on training, educating, and rejuvenating leaders from around the world around health and faith.

She is the founder of Body of Christ United, an organization that trains faith leaders in areas of health management and in the Word of God. She has been a key asset to Partners in Health and Wholeness in setting up roots in Troy, NC. It is through this relationship that Partners in Health and Wholeness will partner with her organization to present a curriculum demonstration called “True Imaging” that helps build positive self-esteem around healthy habits. The curriculum is for all ages. The demonstration is for any adult interested in learning more about this tool for use with their youth. Partners in Health and Wholeness will be co-hosting and providing healthy snacks. Please contact Cindy Taylor for location and more information, cindybcumc@aol.com.

About Joy Williams, Former PHW Regional Coordinator

I am passionate about health and faith. Children, families, and elders have my deepest love and concern, and I've cultivated a heart for dance, plants, cooking, water, chilling with great friends, and talking about the matters of the heart. I love the Lord and seek to bring myself and others closer to The King Most High.
