Screening of “Making a Killing — Guns, Greed, and the NRA”

This movie tells the stories of how guns, and the billions in profit they provide affect the lives of everyday Americans. The film shows how gun companies and the NRA resist legislation for the sake of profit, putting people in danger. It illustrates gun tragedies and what we can do to put an end to this profit-driven crisis.

Along with Umstead Park UCC, this showing is co-sponsored by the Council along with the NC Justice Center, North Carolinians Against Gun Violence, MomsRising, the Durham Committee on the Affairs of Black People, and the Religious Coalition for a Nonviolent Durham.
