Post-Election Lunch and Learn

December 1, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

The House of Representatives in North Carolina has flipped. What does this mean for immigrants in North Carolina, including those currently in sanctuary in places of worship across our state? Join us for an engaging morning of learning, discussion, and food. Speakers from the NC Justice Center, ACLU NC, Church World Service, and American Friends Service Committee will discuss the recent midterm elections and the potential impact on immigrant communities in North Carolina. There will be time for discussion and connection over delicious food made fresh by a guest in sanctuary.

Childcare and lunch will be provided.

Cost to attend this event is on a sliding scale $5-$20.
