Food and Our Faith

Join the Creation Justice Network and Partners in Health and Wholeness/the NC Council of Churches for “Food and Our Faith.” Nationally acclaimed food justice activist and remarkable faith leader the Rev. Richard Joyner of the Conetoe NC Family Life Center will be our keynote speaker. Following Rev. Joyner’s remarks will be a panel discussion drawing upon the wisdom and experience of North Carolina food justice, health, and environmental advocates.  After we hear from our speakers, we will hold a People’s Feast!  While we will be providing the basics, we ask those who are attending to prepare a dish representing a favorite family heirloom or church recipe.
