Feeding the 5000: Emergency Response to Hunger Related to COVID-19 (Webinar)

Hosted by the NC Council of Churches, with partners NC Interfaith Power & Light, Carolina Farm Stewardship Association (CFSA), Partners in Health & Wholeness, and Rural Advancement Foundation International (RAFI), this webinar will highlight CFSA’s pilot project to help connect farmers with employees out of work as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

This pilot project will help feed our neighbors and friends during this time, but it will also provide the groundwork for larger projects—projects that will bolster community resilience in the midst of the kinds of crises we see as a result of national disasters and climate change.

We know that people of faith are called to feed the hungry, and we’re so excited to contribute to the creation of a world where all are fed and fed well. Please join this important conversation to learn how you and your faith community can support this work. This really is a moment in which we need all hands on deck.
