Join the United Methodist Advocates for Public Schools (UMAPS) for a candidates forum on the topic of public education. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and question candidates to political office in the November election concerning their positions on public education. We will invite every candidate for a political office in the NC cabinet relevant to public education plus selected candidates for state house and senate constituencies.

The forum will provide each candidate time to articulate their stated position on public education, plus allow time for questions. At the end we hope that a selected group of public education advocacy organizations will also attend to provide their concerns to the candidates for election.
