Father Michael Lapsley — Durham

Father Michael Lapsley speaks on the aftermath of violence and ways forward for wounded individuals and a wounded society. Father Michael, a social justice activist, Anglican priest, and chaplain to South Africa’s anti-Apartheid movement, lost both of his hands and sustained other injuries in a 1990 letter bomb attack by agents of the Apartheid government. But he has never stopped working for justice, peace, and healing.
